Abstract: Herbal shampoos are often made from natural ingredients such as herbs, essential oils, and extracts from medicinal plants. This makes the product safer and less irritating to the scalp compared to products containing chemicals. Herbal ingredients in shampoos can provide many benefits for scalp and hair health, including soothing the scalp, reducing hair breakage, and enhancing hair strength and shine. Due to the use of natural and organic ingredients, herbal shampoos often have less of a negative impact on the environment than products containing chemicals. Herbal products often have natural fragrances from essential oils and herbs, creating a feeling of relaxation and refreshment for the user. The herbal shampoo market is increasingly diverse with many options in ingredients, purposes of use and for specific scalp and hair problems. The article applies quantitative research methods with data collected from the survey to analyze factors affecting the demand for herbal shampoo with survey participants who are generation Z young people in Hanoi city. Results from the analysis show that price, income, chemical shampoo price, conditioner price, tastes and beliefs/expectations have high statistical significance, affecting the demand for herbal shampoos of gen Z young people participated in the survey. The research results are the basis for businesses producing, trading, and distributing herbal shampoos to refer to and make production plans, business decisions, market strategies, and products’ quality innovation, meeting market needs. |
