This paper attempts to offer a systematic meta-analysis of previous studies on oral corrective feedback in EFL classrooms which address issues such as the effectiveness of different types of corrective feedback, the major factors affecting the effectiveness of corrective feedback, the optimal time to provide feedback, students’ and teachers’ perceptions and attitudes towards it and so forth, with a view to helping researches gain a more comprehensive understanding of the development and latest achievements of studies on oral corrective feedback. Pedagogical implications are also offered based on the findings of previous literature, and hopefully the study would provide some insights into the research on corrective feedback. |
